Maruti Suzuki India has a broad CNG range in the Indian market. Maruti distributes around 12 CNG models in India, and the business has debuted the Grand Vitara CNG SUV for Rs. 12.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The business is currently preparing to launch the CNG version of its best-selling SUV, the Brezza.
Maruti Suzuki also displayed a car coated in matte blue alongside the unveiling of the Jimny 5 door and Fronx. The SUV was reportedly spotted at a dealer stockyard, implying that the introduction is soon. The outward and interior style of the Breeza CNG will be comparable to that of the petrol model. Maruti is expected to launch the Brezza in mid-spec VXI and top-spec ZXI models.
16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with DRLs, an engine push start-stop button, a seven-inch touchscreen system, hill-hold assist, cruise control, ESP, and a rear parking camera with sensors are standard on the Breeza CNG.
In terms of powertrain, the Brezza CNG will use the same 1.5-liter NA Petrol engine that delivers 100 horsepower and 136 Nm of torque. In CNG mode, however, the power figures drop to 87 horsepower and 122 Nm of torque. Only a 5-speed manual transmission will be available, with a fuel efficiency of roughly 30 km/kg.
The petrol variant of the Brezzahas priced between Rs. 7.99 lakh and Rs. 13.80 lakh (ex-showroom). CNG models are estimated to cost between 70,000 and 80,000 dollars more than petrol counterparts. When it is released, the Brezza will compete with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV 300.
