Nissan has finally revealed the facelift of the Nissan Magnite. The Nissan Magnite starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹5.99 lakh. This much-awaited mid-life update brings subtle yet impactful changes and puts the Magnite firmly in the box of most affordable compact SUVs in India. Here's what the refreshed Magnite has to offer.
Exterior and interior updates
But front-end changes are the most striking. Now finished in gloss-black with chrome, the wide, very bold grille does feel quite premium. The headlamps fit seamlessly into it and come with a new LED DRL signature. The bumper has been given a fresh look.
The rear tail lamps will sport detailed LED work, while the palette incorporates the new color: Sunrise Copper. The cabin has moved away from the all-black theme, adopting a copper-black dual-tone layout in its place. New textures and ambient lighting are applied to the dashboard and door pads in the company of dual-tone leatherette upholstery for finer opulence.
Features and technology
Nissan has carried forward several important features in this latest version, that has an 8-inch touchscreen, rear AC vents, auto climate control, and a 360-degree camera on board. Its new features are a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster with new graphics, auto headlamps, an auto-dimming IRVM, Type-C charging ports, and a new key fob with remote start. Electric sunroofs are absent from the Magnite despite the competition.
Powertrain and pricing
Otherwise, the Magnite remains mechanically identical. The gearbox remains a 5-speed manual, with AMT and CVT options too. The starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh is only on the first 10,000 deliveries, which might make for some sensible value for money in the compact SUV market.

It is this next version of the Magnite that continues to appeal to the budget-conscious consumers who seek a bit of both style and functionality. With the deliveries starting, it will be interesting to see how this re-freshed model performs in the market and if it further strengthens Nissan's position in the compact SUV segment.
