Additionally, after training more than 50 rookie riders countrywide since 2021, the Rookie category, which focuses on fostering fresh talent, is returning for a third time. During the training session, young racers and aspiring riders will be provided with the finest possible platform. This will spark their enthusiasm for motorcycle racing.

Bangalore will be the site of the initial round of the selection process on January 28, 2023. Pune will play home to the second phase of the selection process on February 4, 2023. For both rounds, full-day training sessions will be led by national champions from the PETRONAS TVS Racing stable. The training schedule will assist the participants in becoming comfortable with the track and racing motorcycles.

For the final round at MMRT Chennai, the best 20 participants from each venue will be chosen. The TVS Apache RR 200 will be used for the rookie division. The female racers will get the opportunity to ride the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V built for racing. After the final selection round in Chennai, the racers will receive specialised training from TVS Racing's national champion riders.

The chosen racers will benefit from the training. Prior to the 2023 Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship, the team will assist in focusing on improving their level of skill and physical health (INMRC).
