Kia India has been robustly emerging as one of the international champions in the automobile market. Operating from its state-of-the-art facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, Kia has been exporting Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits and fully built vehicles to international markets since June 2020. Under its milestone of shipping 1 lakh CKD kits, the brand's focus demonstrates its key role as a contributor to Kia's global operations, doing 50% of the brand's worldwide CKD exports. With a production capacity of 3,00,000 units per annum, Anantapur is a key plant in Kia's aggressive expansion plans to meet both Indian and international requirements.

From being a country-specific operations base, the new vistas for Kia India also include the Middle East and Africa to add impetus to its exports. Doubling CKD exports by 2030 is an ambitious aim, and the company is geared up to strengthen its global footprint. This marks the facility's flexibility and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
